Kingdom Kids: 10:30 to 11:30AM (during the worship service)
Jesus and Me Club, 5:30PM to 6:30PM
Wednesdays: Awana, 5:50PM to 7:30PM (during the school year)
Jesus said, “Permit the children to come to Me.” Luke 18:16 NASB. At Third Baptist Church children are important to us.
PRESCHOOL:
We have age-grouped classes whose goal is to provide your child with spiritual, emotional, mental, physical, and social development. These classes are staffed with loving and caring adults who desire to work with children.
Babies and young preschoolers (birth â kindergarten) stay in their departments during the worship service. We call this time “Extended Teaching Care” and they continue to learn Bible truths taught during the Sunday School hour.
The purpose of our preschool ministry is to help each child associate God, Jesus and the Bible with positive, happy feelings and to know that Jesus is a Special Friend who loves them very much.
CHILDREN I & II
As children continue to mature they need a more challenging curriculum to help them grow in their understanding of God, Jesus and His Word. Our children are grouped according to grades 1 â 3 and 4 â 6 and are taught on their level of understanding. When children leave class they take with them a study guide to help parents reinforce what they have learned during Sunday School. Our goal is to come alongside parents as they strive to instill in their children a love for God and a way to live life which brings happiness. During this six years we strive to prepare them to enter into the youth department with an appreciation and an eagerness to learn more.
